About this role

  • We are looking for a skilled and experienced mechanic to join our team.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Diagnostic, repair and maintenance of heavy equipment in accordance with manufacturer specifications.
  • Provide technical support within Sydney metro and regional areas as required.
  • Attend delivery handovers of new equipment to customer sites.
  • Able to work autonomously as well as within a team environment.
  • Completion and submission of all relevant documentation.
  • Provide timely service while maintaining a clean and tidy workspace in line with company standards.

Requirements:

  • Relevant trade qualification in Heavy Diesel Mechanic.
  • Proven experience working on earthmoving equipment.
  • A MR License, Working at heights qualifications and an EWP License will be highly regarded.
  • Able to navigate computer programs for diagnostics and troubleshooting.
  • A strong focus on safety with a sound understanding of Workplace Health and Safety principles.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to meet requirements set by the company.
  • Willingness to be flexible with travel and work outside normal hours to meet customer needs.
