Business Improvement Projects Coordinator

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Administrative Support Officer to join our Business Transformation team at Latrobe City Council. As a key member of the team, you will provide high-level administrative support to the Business Transformation Projects Coordinator and the broader Business Improvement portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to the Business Transformation Projects Coordinator, including managing project documentation, coordinating administrative systems, and assisting with the development of communication and training plans.
- Support the development of engagement, communication, and training plans, and related documentation and content, in conjunction with the Project Managers, Analysts, and Solution Specialists.
- Facilitate the development, maintenance, and adherence to project plans and related documentation, ensuring project governance and compliance with council and community standards.
- Manage electronic and manual systems that contribute to the efficient operation of the team, helping to improve processes and ensure smooth departmental operations.
- Deliver minor projects as delegated, supporting broader business improvement efforts and ensuring alignment with organisational goals.
About You
We are looking for an adaptable and self-motivated individual with experience in administration and project support, ideally in corporate or local government settings. You will be an organised and detail-oriented professional with strong communication skills, able to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
Requirements
- Tertiary qualification in a field relevant to project delivery and support, or lesser qualifications together with demonstrated administrative experience and excellent corporate record keeping skills.
- Well-developed interpersonal, verbal, and communication skills, including a mature and professional approach to customer service and stakeholder engagement.
- Demonstrated ability to plan, organise, set priorities, and meet deadlines, accompanied by an ability to perform a number of tasks concurrently with minimum supervision.
- Strong computer skills and demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office Products, as well as a range of software applications.
- Proven ability to work independently and also as part of a team, demonstrating flexibility in the work environment.
