We are seeking a highly skilled Mine Plant Project Engineer to join our team at Technical Resources. As a key member of our project delivery team, you will be responsible for managing and delivering equipment packages to our clients.
Key Responsibilities- Act as the focal point and driving force for assigned equipment packages, ensuring timely and quality delivery.
- Provide ongoing reporting to internal stakeholders and advice to client stakeholders, working closely with the EPCM design team to scope the extent of the package.
- Collaborate with the EPCM procurement team to prepare tender documents and conduct technical bid evaluation.
- Participate in tender selection and recommendation for award, ensuring the best value for our clients.
- Coordinate kick-off meetings and serve as the primary contact point on behalf of the project for suppliers and contractors.
- Evaluate supplier and contractor progress, driving mitigation plans where required, and providing direction to ensure successful project delivery.
- Work closely with the EPCM quality team to complete QA/QC programs, including inspection, testing, and resolution of non-conformance reports.
- Manage and support the EPCM procurement team in addressing claims from suppliers and contractors.
- Coordinate delivery programs with the site team, arranging post-delivery support by suppliers and contractors to ensure smooth installation and commissioning.
- Approve and close document deliverables, including MDR and As-Built drawings.
- Assess progress for payment and instigate warranty claims where required.
- Proven experience in package engineering for equipment used in crushed and convey iron ore processing plants, including crushers, feeders, screens, rock breakers, dust collectors, conveyor components, winches, magnets, weighers, hydraulic power units, and pumps.
