Role Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled Staff Engineer to join our team at Space Machines Company (SMC) in the role of Guidance, Navigation, and Control (GNC).

About Space Machines Company: SMC is a pioneering on-orbit servicing provider, offering services such as inspection, refueling, debris management, and satellite life extension. Our team is dedicated to innovating and pushing the boundaries of space safety and sustainability.

Key Responsibilities: As a Staff Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, planning, and implementing GNC systems and approach strategies for our on-orbit servicing spacecraft. This includes developing GNC algorithms, contributing to software and simulation packages, and collaborating with the GNC Lead to investigate new methods and technologies.

Requirements: To be successful in this role, you will need a master's degree or higher in science/engineering with a focus on AOCS or a related field. You should have 3+ years of experience in GNC/AOCS engineering, including experience simulating spacecraft systems in Matlab/Simulink and strong knowledge of GNC algorithm design, modeling, and testing.
