  • Ensure compliance with legislative design standards while performing quality checks to maintain high standards of delivery.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide expert technical advice to clients and drive delivery excellence across the Power team.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

Your design engineering expertise should be built on solid fundamentals and demonstrated through the successful delivery of complex power engineering projects. As a Senior Engineer, you should be experienced in leading teams and have a passion for coaching and mentoring emerging engineers to help them grow professionally.

Preferably, you will bring extensive experience in electricity transmission and distribution projects, with a strong understanding of multidisciplinary engineering principles and advanced expertise in secondary and protection design.

You should have a deep understanding of HV power design, including regulations, policies, and procedures, as well as comprehensive experience with modern protection relay technology, substation automation systems, and their application through to commissioning.

With strong project management capabilities, you should excel at coordinating, implementing, and integrating complex systems while demonstrating exceptional organisational skills and the ability to think creatively to solve challenging problems.

Results-oriented, you possess a robust technical foundation in transmission, distribution, or rail traction power systems alongside significant experience in managing project delivery. Relevant tertiary qualifications in Electrical Engineering further support your expertise.
