Job Opportunity

We are seeking a professional to join our newsroom as a Newsreader. This exciting role involves researching, writing, editing, and presenting on-air news bulletins that are current, accurate, and consistent with brand style.

The successful candidate will have a strong interest in news and current affairs, with a relevant qualification. They will also possess excellent technical skills in writing, editing, and presenting talk radio news bulletins.

This position requires the ability to work independently through shifts, liaising closely with the news team to ensure accurate and timely information. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a fast-paced environment, with effective communication skills both orally and in writing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct research and interviews for local, national, and international news stories affecting the community
  • Write, edit, and present on-air news bulletins
  • Liaise with the news team to ensure accurate and timely information
  • Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail

Working Conditions:
