Payroll Specialist Role

We are seeking a skilled payroll professional to take on the role of Payroll Administrator at our facility in Queensland, Australia.

As a Payroll Administrator, you will be responsible for ensuring timely and accurate processing of fortnightly payroll timesheet entries in line with legislation and current policies and procedures.

Key responsibilities include maintaining and overseeing leave records and processes, acting as the main contact for all payroll queries site-wide, assisting with upcoming projects to improve site payroll processes and procedures, and providing regular and ad-hoc reports for managers/supervisors.

To succeed in this role, you will require a passion for data, an excellent knowledge of Excel, and a keen eye for detail. You should have a solid background in payroll for a medium to large-sized organization, exceptional attention to detail while working in a high-volume role, advanced skill level using Microsoft Office packages, specifically Word and Excel, and the ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Current Standard 11 and QLD Drivers Licence
