Expert SMSF Accountant Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior SMSF Accountant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of SMSFs and providing end-to-end compliance services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Preparation of financial statements, tax returns, and compliance documentation for SMSF clients
  • Management of SMSF accounting and compliance matters from start to finish
  • Communication with external auditors and serving as the primary point of contact for SMSF clients
  • Staying up to date with superannuation legislation and compliance changes
  • Assistance with process improvements and mentoring junior team members (if desired)
  • Experience working with Class, BGL360, or similar SMSF platforms

Requirements:
  • Minimum 3 years' experience working with SMSFs in a public practice firm
  • Strong knowledge of SMSF compliance
  • Experience with Class, BGL360, or similar software
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
  • Confident communicator with a client-first approach
  • CA/CPA qualified or working towards
