Head of School

Indie Education is seeking a visionary leader to oversee the establishment of Indie School Southport, a new campus scheduled to open in 2026. As Head of School, you will be responsible for developing and implementing teaching and learning programs, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and managing a team of staff.


Key Responsibilities:">
  • Develop and implement high-quality educational programs that meet the needs of students.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including policies and procedures.
  • Manage a team of staff, including recruitment, performance reviews, and disciplinary action as needed.
  • Assist with planning and implementation of school improvements, demonstrating proficiency in operational responsibilities.
  • Undertake high-level creative and effective planning, programming, and managerial functions, with clear accountability for performance and outcomes.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to the team, promoting a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.

  • Qualification in Teaching
  • Annual National Police Checks
  • Current QCT registration (QLD)
