This exciting opportunity will see you join our educational team as an Automotive Teacher, delivering high-quality training and assessment to students across various delivery modes.
As a successful candidate, you will possess extensive industry knowledge and experience, combined with a passion for teaching and mentoring. You will be responsible for designing and delivering engaging learning programs, assessing student performance, and providing guidance and support to help students achieve their goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and deliver high-quality learning programs that meet the needs of students and industry partners
- Assess student performance and provide constructive feedback to improve their skills and knowledge
- Develop and maintain relationships with industry partners and stakeholders to ensure curriculum relevance and accuracy
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and advancements to ensure teaching practices remain current and relevant
- Contribute to the development of curriculum and assessment materials to enhance the quality of teaching and learning
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess:
- A Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology or equivalent qualification
- Current industry skills directly relevant to the training and assessment being provided
- Current knowledge and skills in vocational training and learning that informs the training and assessment provided
- Evidence of undertaking professional development in the fields of the knowledge and practice of vocational training, learning and assessment including competency-based training and assessment
- A current Queensland Driver's licence
- One of the following training and assessment credentials: TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, TAE50111 Diploma of Vocational Education and Training, or a higher-level qualification in adult education approved by TAFE Queensland
