Electrophysiology Specialist Role Overview

This is a unique opportunity for a highly skilled and motivated Electrophysiology Specialist to join our elite team of medical technology experts. As an Electrophysiology Specialist, you will be responsible for providing field/remote clinical, technical & educational support in electrophysiology to assigned accounts across ANZ.

The primary focus of this role is to support new therapy introduction of Pulsed Field Ablation through our recent launch of the FARAPULSE system. You will work closely with leading healthcare professionals to demonstrate clinical expertise and influence superior outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical support including basic trouble-shooting, and clinical guidance to diagnose and treat cardiac arrhythmias
  • Measure electrical circuits within the heart and perform stimulation protocols as per physician requests to aid in the diagnosis of cardiac arrhythmias
  • Develop a deep technical understanding of company products to provide technical training to Cardiac Electrophysiologists, Cardiac Physiologists and Nurses
  • Travel as required to meet customer demand for services described above
  • Attend cases face to face (or remotely) with customers, operate Boston Scientific products where appropriate, and provide detailed training / advice to physicians on clinical attributes / techniques associated with Boston Scientific electrophysiology products

You will also be responsible for developing a deep understanding of hospital workflows and business relationships with hospital personnel to ensure that products are trained and utilised in accordance with the Directions for Use.

A strong sense of urgency and ability to prioritise tasks effectively will be essential in ensuring timely collection and reporting of all required medical documentation pertaining to procedural device operation.

Skills and Qualifications Required

  • Previous clinical case experience within electrophysiology/rhythm management
  • Strong technical and clinical skills
  • Proven experience in building and maintaining customer relationships
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
