As a skilled professional in maintenance and repairs, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities. This role involves performing routine checks on buildings, equipment, and grounds to prevent breakdowns and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities:- Maintain and repair buildings, painting, plant and equipment, furniture, fittings, gardens, lawns, and carparks.
- Ensure timely completion of preventative maintenance tasks.
- Manage asset acquisition and disposals.
- Manage site vehicles and loading dock areas.
- Collaborate with the Maintenance Supervisor and Site Manager on budget planning and asset management.
- Purchase and order equipment in accordance with organizational policies.
- Report and manage resident and staff complaints regarding maintenance services.
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with staff and contractors.
- Ensure compliance with WHS legislation and organizational policies.
- A minimum of 12 months experience in preventative and reactive maintenance systems.
- Hands-on property maintenance experience.
- Understanding of operational processes.
- Experience managing property-related contractors.
- A team player with a can-do attitude.
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365.
- Valid driver's license.
- Fire Safety Officer training (or willingness to undertake) – desirable.
- Experience in an Aged Care or Health Care environment.
- A genuine alignment to the organization's values.
