Job Title: Payroll Specialist

The role of a Payroll Specialist is integral to ensuring the smooth operation of our organisation's finance department.

Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Payroll Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will play a key role in processing accurate and timely payroll, maintaining employee records, and supporting finance operations.

Responsibilities:
* Process fortnightly payroll and maintain accurate employee records
* Manage payroll system updates, including new starters, terminations, and changes
* Conduct end-of-month payroll reporting and reconciliations
* Interpret and apply relevant legislation
* Liaise with HR, Finance, and external salary packaging providers

Requirements:
* Strong understanding of payroll legislation and compliance
* High attention to detail and accuracy
* Excellent communication and customer service skills
* Experience with payroll systems
* Ability to work collaboratively and manage competing priorities
