Sourcing Specialist

We are seeking a seasoned Procurement Manager to join our team, driving strategic sourcing initiatives that enhance business growth and profitability.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in managing direct spend categories, raw materials, and supplier relationships within the construction, building, civil engineering, infrastructure or similar industries.

• Develop category strategies on an end-to-end source to contract basis
• Evaluate supplier landscape, review spend analysis and manage tenders through to contract award
• Collaborate with suppliers as part of an ongoing vendor performance review and strategic partnerships model
• Develop a supplier framework that expands the supplier base and mitigates sole supplier risk

Working closely with Supply Chain & Operations to ensure timely delivery of product and materials while managing inventory volumes as required whilst leveraging a volume pricing win.

Leading a small team based across various states in VIC, QLD, NSW and NZ who will assist with sourcing activities and P2P management.

You will be a highly commercial Purchasing Manager with expertise in identifying international pricing and commodity considerations and familiar with a network of manufacturing, building materials and construction suppliers.

Comfortable working with a range of stakeholders and viewed as a genuine procurement business partner to create value and ensure optimal outcomes are achieved.
