Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced ICS/OT Cybersecurity Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for protecting our rapidly expanding global enterprise by auditing the Industrial Control System / Operational Technology (ICS/OT) environment, performing risk/vulnerability assessments, and developing an enterprise strategy/design plan.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of cybersecurity frameworks for ICS/OT environments, as well as experience with OT network communication protocols and industrial networking topologies. They will also possess comprehensive knowledge of internet protocols, firewalls, proxies, and intrusion detection/prevention systems.

As a key member of our team, the ICS/OT Cybersecurity Engineer will lead implementation of cybersecurity ICS/OT systems, research and classify security events, and develop root cause analysis reports. They will also collaborate with different departments to remediate and validate remediation of vulnerabilities or identified issues.

The successful candidate will have excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment. They will also be able to maintain awareness of industry trends, threats, and tools used to support enterprise security.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Audit the ICS/OT environment to identify potential security risks and vulnerabilities.
  • Perform risk/vulnerability assessments and develop an enterprise strategy/design plan to address identified risks.
  • Lead implementation of cybersecurity ICS/OT systems, including configuration and maintenance.
  • Research and classify security events, and develop root cause analysis reports.
  • Collaborate with different departments to remediate and validate remediation of vulnerabilities or identified issues.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you must possess the following skills and qualifications:

Education: Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Engineering, or related focused technical training or 4 additional years of engineering experience that may have been acquired in the military or public sectors.

Experience: 3 years of experience performing security assessments in an OT environment.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity frameworks for ICS/OT environments.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of internet protocols, firewalls, proxies, and intrusion detection/prevention systems.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Maintain awareness of industry trends, threats, and tools used to support enterprise security.
