The Opportunity

As a Design Researcher, you will play a key role in driving business growth and customer satisfaction through data-driven insights. Your expertise will inform strategic decisions, shape product development, and enhance customer experiences.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the execution and delivery of full-service qualitative and quantitative research projects
  • Support stakeholders to identify opportunities to solve problems aligned to customer needs
  • Conduct moderated and unmoderated usability testing
  • Develop compelling reports, presentations, and data visualisations that translate insights into actionable opportunities

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced researcher who can excel in a fast-paced environment. Your skills and qualifications should include:

  • Experience running qualitative and quantitative research studies
  • Solid understanding of primary research methodologies

Please find below an overview of the responsibilities for this position:

Key Responsibilities
  • Undertake high-level market and competitor analysis
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging best practices
  • Maintain close relationships with customers to ensure their evolving needs are understood
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to drive successful project outcomes

This position requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. A talent for building rapport with clients is essential to achieve successful business outcomes.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Must have relevant tertiary qualification in a related field
  • Proven track record in conducting market research, either qualitatively or quantitatively
  • Highly developed technical skills, including experience with relevant software applications
  • Ability to build strong relationships with diverse stakeholders, from clients to internal team members

Knowledge of data analysis principles and statistical techniques would be beneficial. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other productivity tools is expected. This role may require occasional travel.
