The Senior Data Scientist will work closely with stakeholders and technical teams to identify business opportunities, develop and refine Machine Learning prototypes, and deliver production-ready models that drive tangible results.

The Role
  • Design, develop, and deploy comprehensive Machine Learning models using Azure ML, Pipelines, and Data Factory.
  • Develop proof-of-concepts to demonstrate feasibility and iterate on solutions for commercial deployment.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across commercial and technical teams to identify and prioritise business problems that can be solved with Machine Learning.
  • Own the entire Machine Learning lifecycle from data preprocessing and feature engineering through to deployment, monitoring, and retraining.
  • Implement scalable Machine Learning Operations strategies including CI/CD, performance tracking, drift detection, and automated retraining.
  • Work cross-functionally with data engineers and software developers to embed models into production systems.
Key Skills
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in data science and Machine Learning model development.
  • Expertise in Azure ML and Machine Learning Operations, with strong capability in feature engineering, model evaluation, and deployment.
  • Proven experience developing and iterating on Machine Learning prototypes to quickly validate business value.
  • Strong understanding of Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment pipelines for Machine Learning and real-world deployment strategies.
  • Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
