Job DescriptionWe are seeking passionate and qualified Mathematics educators to join our team of dedicated professionals. The successful candidates will be responsible for delivering high-quality mathematics education to students in years 7 to 12 across a range of secondary settings.
The ideal candidate will have relevant tertiary qualifications, a passion for teaching and education, and the ability to teach across a broad age and ability range. They will also possess positive classroom management skills, the ability to communicate effectively, and proven experience establishing and fostering relationships with students, staff, and parents/carers.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement engaging and challenging lesson plans that cater to diverse learning needs.
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support their academic growth.
- Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment that promotes student well-being and engagement.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement school-wide initiatives that improve student outcomes.
As a Mathematics educator with the ACT Government, you will enjoy a competitive salary package, including:
- A base salary of $102,969 - $121,077, plus superannuation.

To be eligible for this position, you must hold:
- A four-year full-time tertiary education qualification.
- A valid approval to teach with the ACT Teacher Quality Institute (TQI).
- A Working With Vulnerable People (WWVP) registration.
- Approved working status as an Australian citizen, permanent resident, or holder of a valid working visa.
