Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Care Worker to join our team at KinCare in Melbourne North. As a Home Care Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our customers, enabling them to live independently at home for longer.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide domestic assistance, including cleaning and laundry, to ensure our customers' homes are safe and comfortable.
  • Assist with meal preparation and shopping to promote healthy eating and independence.
  • Offer social support and access to lifestyle activities to enhance our customers' quality of life.
  • Provide respite and emotional support to our customers and their families.
  • Transport customers to appointments and provide social support during these visits.
  • Deliver complex care to customers with high care needs, such as dementia, in a person-centered and respectful manner.

Requirements
  • You must be passionate about assisting our aged community and have a current P1 class or above Australian Drivers License and a registered vehicle.
  • You should be able to work independently, finding solutions to everyday problems and knowing when to ask for help.
  • You'll need to be available to work at least 3 days a week, Monday to Friday, with no night or weekend work required.
