Job SummaryWe are seeking a Security Officer to provide a security presence, access control, mobile/foot patrols, and respond to emergencies at our client site in Mount Isa.
Key Responsibilities- Ensure only authorized vehicles and personnel enter the site
- Conduct mobile/foot patrols and vehicle/bag security inspections
- Perform drug and alcohol testing
- Organize security passes, issue/sign keys in & out, and lock/unlock buildings
- Provide customer service, monitor radio communications, and driver behaviors
- Provide emergency response to incidents on site
- Prepare and submit accurate and timely electronic logs and reports
- QLD drivers' license
- QLD Security Licence – unarmed security officer as a minimum
- Current First Aid and CPR Certificate
- Willing to or hold a Certification to Collect specimens for drug of abuse testing certification (HLTPAT005)
- Available to work a rotational roster consisting of day, nights, and weekends
- Intermediate level in Microsoft Office applications
- Full-time position with above award rates and penalties
- 4 on/4 off roster with work-life balance
- Opportunity to train for candidates without a Security Licence
- Sign-on bonus negotiable dependent on experience and skills
