Staff Android Engineer Position

This is a unique opportunity to contribute to the development of Blinq's mobile experience by leading engineering efforts, designing scalable mobile architectures, and influencing platform-wide patterns.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development of core Android features, including hardware integrations, widgets, and system components.
  • Design and implement scalable mobile architectures that can be adopted across the platform.
  • Collaborate with product, design, and backend teams to create seamless user experiences.
  • Drive internal tooling and process improvements to optimize performance.
  • Mentor Android engineers and guide technical decision-making across teams.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 8 years of experience in Android development, with expertise in Kotlin and Java.
  • A proven track record of architecting complex mobile systems using MVVM, MVP, or Clean Architecture.
  • Strong leadership skills in cross-functional technical initiatives and mobile strategy.
  • Familiarity with best practices for Android performance, security, and design.
  • A passion for mentoring, collaboration, and building long-term impact.
