Project Coordinator for Wind Energy

As a Project Coordinator for wind energy, you will be responsible for overseeing the installation of projects, ensuring efficiency, quality, and timeliness. You will lead a team of coordinators, safety experts, environmental managers, quality controllers, planners, and installers.

Responsibilities:

  • Safety:
    • Perform Safety Walks/Safety Audits to ensure a zero-accident work environment.
    • Implement project-specific rules and programs both internally and towards subcontractors.
    • Conduct site induction when necessary.
  • Quality:
    • Implement site-specific quality control plans fulfilling general quality systems towards subcontractors.
    • Ensure first notification of non-conformity to guarantee all necessary actions are taken to solve identified problems.
    • Perform quality walks/audits to ensure compliance with standards.
  • Time:
    • Coordinate with transport and subcontractors on delivery schedules.
    • Update project plans and provide input to monitor resource allocation sufficient for execution.
  • Scope:
    • Aware of project contracts and local regulations, including working hours.
    • Supervise daily installation activities performed by external resources to ensure project execution (health, safety, quality, and time) and contractual obligations of subcontractors.
    • Perform internal inventory of received goods and materials and hand over to subcontractors.
    • Ensure tools are in good working order with current calibration certificates.
    • Perform final inventory of equipment and parts after completion of site works.
    • Supervise installation according to technical specifications.
    • Conduct page-turns with subcontractors.
    • Perform Final Walk down.
    • Ensure wellbeing of all team members and company policies are obtained.
  • Deliverables:
    • Timely installed projects.
    • Snagging-free installations/documentation.
    • Zero accident work environment.
    • Daily reporting to back office.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years' experience in wind energy.
  • Extensive experience executing large projects.
  • Training in safety and quality.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Experience conducting inspections and audits.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Physically capable to climb turbines.
  • Mechanical background.
