Job Title: Senior Learning Advisor

As a Senior Learning Advisor with The State of Queensland, you will play a critical role in supporting the development of Child Safety Officers (CSOs) across the state. This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful contribution to the delivery of high-quality learning and development programs that enhance the skills and capabilities of CSOs.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Establish and maintain formal mentoring relationships with allocated CSOs, providing regular scheduled support and timely feedback to help them achieve their learning and developmental goals.
  2. Contribute to the development and delivery of group learning activities, informed by contemporary learning strategies and technologies, to create a safe and collaborative learning environment.
  3. Draw on your practice experience and professional networks to contribute to building CSOs' capability and confidence.
  4. Partner with Cultural Practice Advisors and other stakeholders to support CSOs in developing their cultural capability.
  5. Provide accurate and contemporary information and resources to CSOs in relation to their role-specific capability development and practice.
  6. Collate and interpret learning and performance data, and liaise proactively with relevant partners and stakeholders.
  7. Participate and contribute productively as a member of the team to culturally-led, inclusive, collaborative, and responsive working relationships.
  8. Actively contribute to continuous quality improvement and demonstrate commitment to excellence.
  9. Maintain high-quality records and documentation, updating, monitoring, and reviewing completions and participation for learning and development activities.
  10. Collect and analyze feedback and relevant data, and contribute to regular reporting on activities and deliverables for the CSO learning and development program.
  11. Manage competing demands while delivering consistently high-quality support for CSOs engaged with the program.
Requirements:

This role requires a high level of expertise in learning and development, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You will need to be able to work collaboratively with a range of stakeholders, including CSOs, Cultural Practice Advisors, and other team members.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the Child Safety Learning Support team's goals and objectives, as well as the ability to contribute to the development of high-quality learning and development programs.
