About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated professional to join our Mental Health Acute Inpatient Service team as a Nurse Practitioner.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Provide evidence-based acute mental health inpatient nursing services, focusing on person-centred care and quality patient outcomes
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans that cater to individual patient needs
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care, ensuring best practices are upheld at all times
- Offer clinical education and support to patients and families, promoting informed decision-making and empowerment
Requirements
- Current Authorised Mental Health Practitioner under the Mental Health Act 2016 or working towards obtaining
- Post graduate qualification in mental health nursing is desirable
- Vaccination against certain vaccine preventable diseases (VPD) is required
