About the Role

This is a unique opportunity to gain an in-depth understanding of court procedures and advocacy while working closely with local communities and respected persons.

As an associate to the judge in charge of the county Koori Court, you will undertake varied work, including legal research, and gain experience and knowledge of the inner workings of the court.

The role requires a high degree of sensitivity and professionalism as you will be working closely with judges, court staff, legal practitioners, and service providers.

This is a role for a recent law graduate or legally qualified person starting their career in law, with the intention of taking the bar and becoming a barrister.

Responsibilities:

  2. Develop expertise in court procedures and advocacy
  3. Work closely with judges, court staff, and legal practitioners
  4. Provide support services to the community

Qualifications and Skills:
