Senior Laboratory Production Leader

The Role We seek an experienced Senior Laboratory Production Scientist to lead production processes and mentor junior scientists. This role is key to ensuring quality, efficiency, and innovation in our production processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership and Mentorship: Leading laboratory scientists, providing training, and fostering continuous improvement.
  • Research and Development: Driving innovation in novel QC materials and transitioning prototypes to full production.
  • Project Coordination: Managing contract-production projects, communicating with clients, coordinating suppliers, and overseeing the entire production process.
  • Problem-Solving and Troubleshooting: Serving as technical support for both production and post-production testing.

This permanent position involves leading a talented team and driving innovation in diagnostic production.

We're looking for a seasoned scientist with experience in laboratory production, quality control, and product development who excels in a leadership role. Ideal candidates will bring:

  • A degree in Biomedical Science or a related field, paired with several years of experience in pathology or the IVD industry.
  • Proven expertise in laboratory production techniques and extensive experience in post-production testing and troubleshooting.
  • Strong leadership skills, including demonstrated experience in training, mentoring, and supporting a team.
  • High attention to detail with a proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.

Experience with large-scale manufacturing of quality control materials is advantageous, as is a hands-on approach to innovation and troubleshooting in a fast-paced laboratory environment.
