Child and Family Services Specialist

As a Child and Family Services Specialist, you will play a vital role in supporting the educational and wellbeing needs of students, teachers, parents, and external services.
The successful candidate will have significant experience in providing professional development and training for staff, families, and carers. They will also demonstrate a high level of collaboration and communication skills when working with multiple stakeholders, including teachers, mental health practitioners, education support staff, students, parents, and external services.
Responsibilities include managing the delivery of support services, ensuring all external providers meet required standards, and promoting a safe and supportive school environment.
You will be responsible for counselling young people with various issues, using evidence-based practices and strategies. Your expertise will be essential in adapting to changing circumstances and collaborating with diverse stakeholders to provide effective solutions.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills, with the ability to adapt to new situations and priorities.
