As a seasoned project professional, you will be responsible for proposing, creating and managing timetables for operational readiness projects.

About the role

Working closely with other teams, you will assess data, mitigate bottlenecks and track development.

The ideal candidate will have a tertiary degree in project management or a related discipline, with 3-5 years of experience in project management and people associated with mining, operations or construction.

Key responsibilities

  • Establish assignments, activities and tasks by conferring with project managers and technical specialists.
  • Track project deadlines and schedules, monitoring timetables and developing revised project timelines.
  • Create, execute and sustain a viable system for managing schedules.
  • Collaborate with project team members and external partners to organize project timetables.
  • Detect potential complications in the project timeline and identify delays or problems.
  • Propose strategies for maintaining projects on time and within budget.

What you'll bring to the team

  • Tertiary Degree in Project Management or Business Qualification desirable.
  • 3-5 years Supporting or Managing Projects & People associated with Mining, Operations or Construction.
  • Proficient with Project Management Software and Applications (e.g., SmartSheets, Microsoft Project or Primavera P6).
  • Ability to hold teams accountable for actions and delegate tasks.
