About the OpportunityThis esteemed food manufacturing business is committed to delivering exceptional quality products across retail and foodservice channels. With a strong focus on product quality and customer satisfaction, they continue to invest in their people, processes, and facilities.
To support this mission, they are seeking a Quality Assurance Supervisor to join their team at their Melbourne manufacturing site.
Key Responsibilities- Maintaining and improving food safety and quality assurance systems
- Leading investigations and corrective/preventative actions
- Supporting staff training in QA procedures and standards
- Participating in third-party audits and customer visits
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A degree in Food Science or a related discipline
- 3-5 years' experience in a QA role within food manufacturing, with supervisory/leadership experience highly regarded
- A solid understanding of HACCP and food quality systems
- Confident working across both systems and factory floor environments
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
