We are seeking passionate teachers who demonstrate a genuine care for students. The successful applicants will possess the relevant qualifications for the position and be currently registered or in the process of obtaining registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching.

Graduates are welcome to apply. A proactive child safety and health and safety approach is a must. We are especially interested in seeking expression of interests in the following areas:

  1. Effective classroom management
  2. Passion for teaching
  3. Able to differentiate instructional approaches and materials for mixed ability classes
  4. Assist with the development and sharing of teaching materials

The ideal candidate will have excellent written and spoken English, demonstrated capacity in effective classroom management, and a passion for teaching. They will also have the ability to differentiate instructional approaches and materials for mixed ability classes and assist with the development and sharing of teaching materials.

Maintaining a positive environment in the classroom which is respectful of all present and fosters student learning is essential. Participating in the College's professional development activities in and out of school hours, undertaking formal pastoral and administrative duties, and participating in the College's extra-curricular and co-curricular programs as required are also key responsibilities.

A tertiary degree in Education and eligibility for VIT Registration are required. Minimum post qualification experience of 2 years is preferred.
