As a Senior Research Associate Analyst at Macquarie, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality research and analysis to support our clients' investment decisions. You will be part of a dynamic team that combines specialist skills, innovative advice, and flexible capital solutions to help our clients and partners achieve their goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth research and analysis on the resources sector, including technical and commercial aspects.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key industry participants, including institutional clients and industry experts.
- Provide written and oral commentary on the sector, including market trends, company performance, and industry developments.
- Assist in modeling company financials, including earnings, cash flows, and individual project and transaction analysis.
- Contribute to the development of research reports, presentations, and other materials to support client engagement.
Requirements
- Tertiary qualifications in finance, accounting, or a technical field (engineering, sciences, etc.).
- Postgraduate qualification such as CA, CFA, or MBA.
- High level of financial literacy and modeling skills.
- Strong understanding of valuation and pricing techniques.
- 3+ years of experience in equities analysis, strategy, consulting, or within industry.
- Strong technical capabilities in the resources sector and financial modeling.
- Strong ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Demonstrates a high interest in the resources space, including technical or commercial skills and a passion for equity markets.
