Job Title: Critical Defence Program Leader

The role of the Critical Defence Program Leader is a highly challenging opportunity to contribute to the critical outcomes of the Australian Defence Force.

As a programme leader, you will be responsible for delivering complex programmes that meet the safety and security requirements of RAAF Test and Training activities.

This includes leading day-to-day operations, estimating, and executing projects that deliver improvements to safety, security, and operational performance.

You will also be responsible for providing key communications and stakeholder management within the team, liaison with Commonwealth Programme Offices, and preparation and management of project reports.

Key responsibilities include managing the planning and execution of defence projects and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.

  • Relevant Qualifications
  • Relevant tertiary qualification in either program or business management
  • Experience
  • Minimum 7 years' experience in a defence project management role or relevant experience
  • Competence
  • Demonstrated competence in Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK) competencies

A current NV-1 security clearance is essential for this role.

This position offers the opportunity to demonstrate leadership skills and drive the delivery of programmes critical to Australian Defence Force missions.
