Michael Page is partnering with a prestigious State Government department, integral in providing vital services and support to the Queensland community during disaster events.

Job Description

  • We are seeking a dedicated professional to join our team and help drive disaster recovery efforts through evaluating and processing grant applications, ensuring compliance with departmental policies and funding criteria.
  • Maintain detailed records of grant submissions, approvals, and disbursements.
  • Review claims, liaise with applicants to clarify details, and request additional documentation when necessary.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Perform ad-hoc duties as required by the department's needs.

The Successful Applicant

  • Must be available to work on a rotating 24/7 roster, including weekends, to support the department's needs.
  • Able to provide compassionate customer service to individuals during times of need.
  • Ability to work independently, as well as collaboratively, in a fast-paced environment.
  • Previous experience in grants management, administration, or customer service is desirable but not essential.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • A high level of organisation with a meticulous eye for detail.

What We Offer

  • A competitive casual hourly rate of up to $57.43 (plus applicable penalties).
  • Weekly pay cycle for ease of payment.
  • Potential for higher-level opportunities based on client requirements.

The estimated salary range for this role is between $57.43 per hour and up to $4,600 per month, depending on the number of hours worked.
