Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare comprehensive building insurance assessment reports for various insurance providers
  • Provide estimates for restoration and rebuilding works
  • Coordinate and manage trades throughout the restoration process for properties affected by insurable events
  • Maintain communication with trades to monitor job progress
  • Act as a liaison between insurance companies and clients
  • Facilitate access to properties for insured parties
  • Resolve disputes and issues as necessary
  • Ensure compliance with all legislative and contractual OH&S requirements
  • Oversee inspections and ensure all relevant documentation is completed
  • Travel within the designated areas as required

Qualifications and Skills

  • Proven experience in the construction industry
  • Relevant qualifications in building trades, ideally carpentry
  • Experience in insurance building or commercial construction
  • Strong communication and customer service abilities
  • Motivated with a strong work ethic
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
  • Empathetic approach to client needs
  • Proficient computer skills
  • Well-presented and professional demeanor
  • Familiarity with OHS practices and regulations
  • Knowledge of current market rates and trades
  • Valid motor vehicle license
