Looking for a dynamic team player to join our cafe's daily operations as a Venue Support Assistant
Job Overview:The successful candidate will support the Food and Beverage Supervisor in managing the cafe's day-to-day activities, ensuring high-quality menu items are prepared in a clean and hygienic setting.
- Ensure the cafe is set up and ready for trade, including preparation of equipment and supplies.
- Prepare and serve daily menu items, including specials and functions.
- Plan and prepare for each day, considering events, activities and special requests.
- Maintain the cleanliness and hygiene of the cafe, meeting rooms, equipment and surrounds.
- Assist with theatre shows and events, providing exceptional customer service.
- Operate the Council's POS system, adhering to cash handling guidelines.

Requirements:- Previous experience in a similar role or relevant industry.
- Familiarity with food handling safe practices.
- Demonstrated ability to provide excellent customer service.
- Hold RSA or be willing to obtain if appointed.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, learn new skills and advance their career. The salary range for this position starts at $30.4756 per hour plus 25% casual loading + 11.5% super.
