About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Commercial Project Manager to manage large scale infrastructure projects in Adelaide. The successful candidate will be involved in tender to project completion.

The key responsibilities of this role include but are not limited to:
  • Manage commercial risks and opportunities across projects and tenders, ensuring timely identification and resolution of issues.
  • Assist in managing contractual and commercial disputes, coordinating with legal counsel and insurance representatives as needed.
  • Prepare internal management and dispute status reports.
  • Oversee and critique tender submissions for exposure to adverse terms and conditions, conducting detailed reviews and negotiations with clients.
  • Assist in preparing subcontractor and consultant contract forms, ensuring incorporation of appropriate commercial terms.
  • Support the preparation of joint venture documentation, pre-bid agreements, and MOUs as required.
  • Provide advice and information on contractual and commercial matters, including compliance with contract documents, legislation, and Australian standards.

About You
To succeed in this role, you must have:
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications.
  • No less than 5 years of experience in a similar role within large infrastructure projects.
  • Expert communication skills, being results-driven with a strong commercial acumen.
  • Well-developed organizational and coordination skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Strong leadership capabilities, facilitating consultation with stakeholders from clients to peers.
  • A proven ability to determine the best course of action to achieve measurable improvements within the business.
  • Experience in identifying commercial risks across various projects and sectors in civil infrastructure, along with planned rectification methods.
  • Prior experience working as a Commercial or Contracts Manager for a head contractor.

This role offers a competitive salary package, estimated at AUD $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on experience.
