We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at Uniting AgeWell Careers. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing person-centered care to our residents, focusing on their physical, emotional, and social needs.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver high-quality nursing care to residents with complex needs, including palliative care, dementia support, restorative care, and pain management.
- Assume administrative responsibilities, including documentation, medication management, and coordination of daily routines.
- Provide leadership, support, and education to Enrolled Nurses and Extended Care Assistants.
- Promote a harmonious team approach by acting as a role model in safe practice measures and medication management.
- Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse Div 1.
- Experience as a Registered Nurse in residential aged care or home care (preferred).
- Experience with dementia care and palliative care support (desired).
- Proficiency in decision making, critical analysis, and on-the-spot problem solving.
- Demonstrated ability to delegate and prioritize in a fast-paced environment with excellent communication skills.
- A current Working With Children Check card.
- Current and ongoing required flu and COVID-19 vaccinations.
- Australian working rights.
- Ability to pass a national police clearance.
