Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team in a rural healthcare setting. The successful candidate will have experience in rural nursing and emergency care, strong triage skills, and proficiency in using ieMR (Integrated Electronic Medical Record).
About the role:
We have multiple contracts available across Hospital & Health services in QLD ranging from 4-12 weeks with potential to extended. Duties for this contract include:
- Deliver comprehensive nursing care in a rural and emergency environment.
- Conduct effective triage to assess and prioritize patient needs.
- Utilize ieMR to accurately document patient information and manage medical records.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and efficient patient care.
- Provide emergency care and support in various situations as needed.
Key Requirements:
- Experience in rural nursing and emergency care settings.
- Demonstrated triage experience and ability to manage urgent patient needs.
- Proficient in using ieMR or similar electronic medical record systems.
- ALS, BLS, Resus and Triage certificates
- Emergency Triage Education Kit (ETEK)
- Manual and patient handling
- Infection control
- Aggressive behavior management
- Mandatory reporting by Registered Nurses, and/or Midwifes for reasonable suspicions of child abuse and neglect
- Medications management including QPHS (Drugs and Poisons) Regulations November 2012
- AHPRA Registration (must be current)
- National Police Check
- Australian Immunisation History
Additionally, the candidate must agree to undertake any of the following as required by the HHS:
- Integrated electronic medical record training
- Online induction training
- Any other training as requested
