About the Role


We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Consultant or Manager to join our education consulting team. This is a full-time permanent position available in our Melbourne practice with hybrid working arrangements.



Key Responsibilities

  • Contribute to client engagements and form a core part of our consulting team.
  • Support projects, develop knowledge and skills in education consulting and be a part of the continuous growth of the team and the firm.
  • Take ownership of the various Education market databases.
  • Manage multiple parallel client engagements, with projects usually involving client and stakeholder engagement and consultation, solution and design workshops, research and analysis (qualitative and quantitative, as required), and developing high-impact reports/deliverables.


Requirements

  • Bachelor degree or higher in a Commerce or Accounting field.
  • Chartered Accountant or Certified Practising Accountant, or studying towards
  • 5+ years' experience as a management accountant, business analyst, management consultant or auditor
  • Ability to build rapport quickly and create valuable relationships with clients.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with high attention to detail.
  • Background in the following will be highly regarded:

    • Financial / data analysis / financial modelling
    • Financial statement
    • Budgeting and forecast forecasting
    • Deep integration of data
    • Market research
    • Report writing
    • Mergers and acquisitions


  • Advanced skills in Microsoft office suite, experience with analytics platforms / tools, such as Tableau, PowerBI will be considered as highly desirable.
