Business Intelligence Analyst Role

The Business Intelligence Analyst plays a pivotal role in driving data-driven decision making within the organisation.

This role is responsible for supporting the organisation's strategic initiatives, ensuring the effective maintenance, enhancement and development of business intelligence tools.

The Business Intelligence Analyst will serve as the first point of contact for users, responsible for troubleshooting, optimising and maintaining existing dashboards while assisting the BI Manager in the development of new insights.

Expertise in data visualisation, analytics and business acumen will be essential in providing commercial teams with actionable insights to support informed business decisions.

The Business Intelligence Analyst will also support the BI Manager in delivering training and provide guidance on best practices to commercial teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain business intelligence tools and dashboards
  • Provide expert-level support to users on dashboard usage and troubleshooting
  • Collaborate with the BI Manager to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies for enhanced performance
  • Deliver training and guidance on best practices to commercial teams
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies in business intelligence and analytics

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems or related field
  • 2+ years of experience in business intelligence and analytics
  • Proficiency in data visualisation and analytics tools such as Tableau, Power BI or D3.js
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
