Operations Director

We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to join our team at Rentokil Initial Darwin branch.
About the Role:The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a safety culture, developing and managing a first-class operations and service support team, implementing and delivering the operational plan, and driving operational efficiencies and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead a safety culture and ensure a safe working environment for all employees
- Develop and manage a high-performing operations and service support team
- Implement and deliver the operational plan, including budget management and cost control
- Drive operational efficiencies and continuous improvement, focusing on work smarter, not harder
- Manage logistics, warehouse, and fleet operations
- Proactively manage service delivery to meet customer contractual expectations and positively impact client retention and growth
- Demonstrated commitment to safety and a proven track record in building a safety culture
- Previous experience in the business services industry, preferably in a management role
- Strong operational principles and experience managing logistics and scheduling systems
- Ability to focus and have a flexible approach when faced with change, completing priorities and work demands
- Demonstrated commercial acumen to manage budgets and costs
- Effective interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Demonstrated track record of successfully delivering against targets, KPIs, and cost efficiencies
- Ability to positively challenge the status quo and champion continuous improvement
