Transport Planner

We are seeking a skilled Transport Planner to join our team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for managing drivers and equipment to ensure timely collections and deliveries throughout the UK.

  • This role involves planning radial vehicles in the most efficient way possible.
  • You will also be responsible for subcontracting out-of-area C&D's in the most efficient manner.
  • Driver locations will need to be checked regularly using trackers and phones.
  • Assisting with enquiries from colleagues, subcontractors, and drivers in a timely and effective manner is also part of this role.

The ideal candidate will have good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and experience in a similar environment. They will also have extensive knowledge of the UK road network and geographical areas.

Key skills required for this position include:

  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Able to work under pressure and cope during high volume peaks.
  • Good team player with ability to work on individual tasks.
