Environmental Sustainability Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Environmental Sustainability Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for working on a wide range of environmental projects including waste management, sustainability initiatives, and compliance/permitting actions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and create plans and specifications for environmental engineering projects.
  • Support planning projects associated with recycling programs, organics, zero waste, circular economy, and sustainability initiatives.
  • Participate in meetings with clients and regulatory agencies to resolve technical issues and negotiate compliance/permitting actions.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering or closely related Engineering field.
  • Previous experience designing and creating plans and specifications for environmental engineering projects.
  • Requires professional engineering license recognized by the licensing board for the location of the position offered.
  • Self-motivated, able to work independently and with a project team to completion of a task.
