Project Support Specialist

This is an exciting opportunity for a high-performing individual to join the Engineering & Technology branch of Transport and Main Roads (TMR) in the role of Project Officer. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering timely and effective administrative and project support within the Office of the Deputy Chief Engineer (Structures) and wider Structures Engineering teams. You will work closely with the Senior Advisor to undertake various administrative and project support tasks contributing to short- and long-term strategic objectives.

To succeed in this role, you must demonstrate strong organisation and time management skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a proactive problem-solving mindset with a desire to learn, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Proficiency with Microsoft Office is also essential.
