Maritime Engineering Specialist – Senior Advisor

Job Description:

We are seeking experienced Maritime Engineers to join our team in a senior advisory capacity. As a key member of our Maritime Capability segment, you will deliver specialist services to our clients in engagements that develop and support capability for the Navy.

You will work closely with our clients to understand their needs and develop solutions that meet their objectives. This will involve delivering systems engineering services in the Defence Maritime environment within the One Defence Capability System.

Your expertise will be essential in supporting our clients in the early stages of the One Defence Capability System, and you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on the development of capability for the Navy.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • A Bachelor or equivalent level qualification in Engineering
  • Minimum three years post graduate experience
  • Experience working within the Defence Maritime environment
  • An active NV1 AGSVA Security Clearance (or higher)
  • Comfortable working with ambiguity and complexity, including within sensitive environments while under limited guidance
  • Effective communication skills and proven ability to deliver high-quality written products
  • High level of emotional intelligence and a humanistic approach to everything you do
