The Role

This Corporate Finance Associate role is part of our Corporate Finance Team, responsible for securing funding for all operational and investment needs. The successful candidate will be involved in various projects, ranging from Bank & Investor relations, Fleet Financing, Fleet Procurement to Insurance for the APAC region.

You will join our Sydney offices, reporting directly to the Corporate Finance Director. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain exposure to the company's business model, funding, and cash flow management strategy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Fundraise for the organization (research, approach, close) with banks, investors, and leasing partners.
  • Oversee fleet-related purchases, such as insurance and manage relationships with leasing and production companies.
  • Negotiate with and prospect insurance companies and brokers to secure better conditions.
  • Prepare cash flow maps, design strategies for using funds, and support treasury decisions, continuously forecasting cash flow needs for the following 18 months.
  • Contribute to developing the funding strategy of the business for its operational and investment plan, including new business units to be created.
  • Prepare reports for Board, Shareholders, and Management meetings.
  • Present business updates and financial statements to external stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Bachelor or Master's degree in Management, Economics, or Finance.
  • More than 3 years of experience in corporate and strategy finance positions.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to learn quickly and implement new procedures with new tools to improve efficiency through automation of tasks.
  • Results-driven individual with attention to detail, autonomous, and responsible for deliverables.
  • Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Thrives in fast-paced environments and feels comfortable with ever-changing situations.
  • Motivated by taking ownership of projects.
  • Fluency in English is mandatory.

Estimated Salary Range

$80,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on experience.
