Director Role Overview

The Centre Director at Explorers Early Learning is a leadership position where you will shape the future of early education.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Inspire and lead daily centre operations to deliver high-quality early learning experiences for children.
  • Build strong relationships with team members, families, and the wider community to foster a positive and inclusive environment.
  • Champion the Reggio Emilia-inspired curriculum and support the team to bring it to life.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company values by maintaining high standards in all aspects of centre operations.
  • Develop and implement strategies to create an uplifting culture that motivates and empowers staff and children alike.
  • Advocate for child safety and ensure positive learning outcomes for every child.

You will be supported by a dedicated Director-in-Training, Educational Leader, and operations team throughout your journey.

Requirements:
  • Diploma in Early Childhood Education or higher
  • 5+ years of early childhood experience, with at least 3 years in management
  • Skills in budget management, rostering, and compliance documentation; knowledge of the Reggio Emilia approach and familiarity with EYLF and NQS
  • First Aid, Asthma, and Anaphylaxis Training
  • Valid Working with Children Check (Employee) and Mandatory Reporting
