Our client, a leading brand in Australia and New Zealand, is seeking a skilled Application and Database Administrator to join their dynamic IT department.

The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of coding in.Net, including C#, ASP.Net MVC, and web API, as well as advanced skills in querying SQL databases and managing SQL Server Agent.

They will also have proven experience in developing and maintaining ETL jobs using T-SQL and SSIS, as well as strong skills in MS Excel for data manipulation, analysis, and visualization.

The successful candidate will play a key role in the development and deployment of new and existing applications, ensuring their stability and reliability, and will be responsible for monitoring SQL Server Agent jobs, logs, and error logs, resolving any issues and reporting failures or vulnerabilities to IT Management.

They will also be responsible for identifying vulnerable data flow tasks and coming up with recommendations based on standard and best practices, as well as investigating performance issues or data consistency issues as required.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of business reporting and will be responsible for creating and maintaining new and existing business reports as required.
