Seeking an experienced Wall and Floor Tiler for residential and commercial projects.

  • Tiling work involves installing ceramic, porcelain, slate, marble, and glass tiles on walls and floors, ensuring precision in alignment and spacing for a professional finish.
  • Surface preparation is a critical step in the tiling process, requiring attention to detail to ensure optimal tile adhesion. This includes examining plans, measuring, and marking surfaces, removing old tiles, grout, adhesives, filling cracks, and cleaning surfaces.
  • Adhesive application is also essential, as it must be spread evenly onto surfaces and set tiles securely in position.
  • Tiles must be cut to fit around edges, corners, and obstacles such as pipes and fittings, requiring skill and patience.
  • Grouting and finishing are crucial steps in completing a tiling project, involving grouting tiles and removing excess grout to ensure a smooth, finished surface.
  • Waterproofing systems must be applied to protect against water damage and ensure longevity.

This role requires a high level of technical skill, with experience in tiling and a strong eye for quality workmanship.
