About The Role

\

This role strengthens school capacity to provide a quality Catholic education by leading School Improvement. It also supports Principals through mentoring, leadership, encouragement and supervision.

\

The role works with Catholic Education Services personnel to build the capacity of schools to develop innovative approaches to engaging students in learning that prepares them for a fulfilled life.

\

Key Responsibilities

  • Strengthens school capacity to provide a quality Catholic education\
  • Supports Principals through mentoring, leadership, encouragement and supervision\
  • Works with Catholic Education Services personnel to build the capacity of schools\
  • Develops innovative approaches to engaging students in learning\
  • Prepares students for a fulfilled life\
  • Becomes a committed, practicing Catholic\
  • Demonstrates leadership and governance experience in Catholic education\
  • Tertiary qualifications in Education and a Master's degree or post-graduate qualification in related discipline\
  • Continues professional development\
  • Hold a current Working With Children Blue Card or be eligible to apply\
  • Be registered or eligible to register with Queensland College of Teachers\
